A rediscovered video of Sean “Diddy” Combs from 2020 has raised concerns about the well-being of a young girl he described as his “adopted daughter.”
The video, which has received increased attention with the music mogul’s recent arrest and indictment, shows Diddy presenting a girl called Ava Baroni to his family.
However, investigations indicate that, despite his assertions, Diddy was never her legal guardian. According to TMZ, people close with the case revealed that Diddy never officially adopted Ava.

The video, which shows Combs presenting Ava as “Ava Baroni Combs” during an Instagram Live session, was supposedly a “skit” that has since been “overblown by concerned fans”
Diddy stated that he adopted the girl because he wanted her to have a “Black parent,” comparing his acts to Madonna and Sandra Bullock’s.
During the Instagram Live, Ava told her experience, saying she was “on the streets” before “Papa Combs” took her in.
However, she later explained that she met Diddy’s twin kids, Jessie and D’Lila, when they were just six months old. She claims they are “basically like sisters” and that she frequently visits the Combs household.

According to sources, Ava’s parents were good friends with Kim Porter, Diddy’s late ex and the mother of three of his children, including D’Lila and Jessie. While Ava may have spent time with the family in the past, the relationship was never formalized as an adoption.
In fact, TMZ’s insider stated that Ava’s parents had distanced themselves from Combs, particularly in light of his recent legal difficulties.
Diddy is currently in custody, awaiting his next court appearance. According to reports, Diddy’s seven children are in “crisis and shock” about their father’s position.
