If you have a preschooler, you are undoubtedly familiar with Morphle on YouTube, as you are most likely one of the 12 million viewers who watch the adventures of Mila, Her stepbrother Jordie, or their changing form magical pet Morphle.
Get ready to watch more Morphle and companions because the series has just expanded and Morphle and the Magic Pets is joining the Disney family, launching on Disney Junior and Disney+.
Moonbug Entertainment, which also created CoComelon and Blippi, will produce the series. So, what should fans of the YouTube series expect from the new Disney series? Check out the quick synopsis below from Parents.com.
The show follows Mila and her new stepbrother Jordie as they embark on incredible adventures with Morphle, Mila’s mystical companion. Morphle has the ability to “morph” into anything Mila imagines.

In a recent interview with Parents.com, Kathy Power, the Creative Executive of Morphle, described Morphle as Mila’s magical companion and devoted best friend “He has comically big feelings which he can’t always control but luckily, Morphle has two amazing friends in Mila and Jordie to help him learn to regulate those big feelings.”
Power went on to say that Morphle isn’t the only magical pet that parents and preschoolers will meet in this new series that teaches children how to deal with difficult emotions.
“These magical creatures are a hybrid of real-life animals with fanciful abilities.
These abilities can sometimes cause turmoil and sometimes be used to solve problems!Some of our pets, such as Mila and Morphle, are hunting for their magic partners
A magical match occurs when a child and a pet with complementary personality traits meet and become ‘best buddies forever and ever.'”
Morphle and the Magic Pets features 52 episodes that are each seven minutes long. Furthermore, in classic Disney flair, there is more! There are further 50 shorts of roughly three minutes each for parents to enjoy. Morphle and the Magic Pets is aimed for preschoolers aged 3 to 6, and focuses on topics such as creativity, self-confidence, problem-solving, and friendship.
Arthur van Merwijk produced the Morphle YouTube series as a series of shorts and launched it in 2011. Morphle and the Magic Pets is currently available on both Disney Junior and Disney+. If you and your kids are fans like us, you won’t want to miss any episodes!
